If there’s one thing that working from home has taught us, it’s that it is totally OK to stay in your pajamas all day. Don’t get us wrong, dressing up (even for at-home meetings!) makes us feel productive and normal, but wearing cozy PJs all day is sort of the dream, if you ask me.

While I haven’t found a reason to shop for “going out” clothes during quarantine, I’ve found every excuse in the book to shop for multiple pairs of loungewear and pajamas. And after a few scrolls on Instagram and TikTok, I learned that every single person on my feed was wearing this $26 pajama set from Amazon.

With nearly 4,000 reviews and a 4.5-star rating, I realized that my friends in my social media circle aren’t the only people obsessing over this matching set. Available in over 35 different colors and prints, Amazon shoppers all over the world are calling these pajamas “the softest PJs I have ever put on.”

So of course, I had to try them out for myself and decided to enlist two of my co-workers to test them with me in three different colors. Below, we give our honest review of the viral pajamas that have taken over the quarantine closets of thousands of shoppers.

On the fit: When it comes to pajamas, this Amazon set checked off all the boxes. I love sleeping in a lightweight and short-sleeve silhouette, and this was exactly that. Although, I naturally have a petite figure, I like to make sure my clothing is fairly relaxed and not clinging to my body, especially when I’m sleeping. Before purchasing, I read on Amazon that the pajamas ran large, but this was definitely not the case for me. The small was perfect, and if you’re in between sizes, going up a size shouldn’t be a problem, thanks to the elastic waist and chiffon drawstring.

On the fabrication: As someone who usually gets hot in the middle of the night, it’s crucial for me to opt for breathable and airy fabrics. This pajama set was designed with an incredibly soft cozy cotton fabric, which makes the set even more comfortable than it looks.

Would you recommend: Yes! Whether I am cozying up on the couch or indulging in an extra-lazy Sunday, these pajamas feel like luxury loungewear without the steep price tag. And with so many different color options, you can snag the same exact set, and it will feel totally different. The sleek black hue gives off a much different vibe than the palm tree print, which you’ll see Ellie is wearing below! Plus, you know what they say, “If you love something, buy it in every color.”

On the fit: As someone who doesn’t really wear pajama sets, the two most important things to me were the sizing and the feel. I’m happy to report that the large actually feels like a large, which gave me enough space in both the top and the bottom. Speaking of bottoms, y’all may notice that I do have a bit more junk in the trunk, so it was a pleasant surprise to see these shorts actually fit and fell down far enough to cover my booty.

On the fabrication: The material feels very soft, and I didn’t immediately notice any garment issues (like loose threading, uneven stitching, etc.). It’s definitely a type of material that makes you feel good and ready to unwind after a long day (maybe with a glass of wine in hand!). That being said, the set was priced reasonably enough (for me, as someone who isn’t a big ‘jama person) that I didn’t feel it was more expensive than it cost. However, that should not deter you — it feels good.

Would you recommend: Definitely! I love the small accents they did, like the engraved buttons or the cute little pocket on the breastplate, which is an ACTUAL pocket. The fact that it has a drawstring also got an A+ from me, and I am really happy with this product. I’d recommend them to all my friends so we could be matching-set babes!

On the fit: These pajamas fit true to size and are very comfortable. Overall, I’m usually between a size small and medium, but lean toward a size 27 in jeans, so I went with a small. The top is relaxed and fits loose enough that it’s comfortable, yet I’m not swimming in it. The bottoms are pretty relaxed as well, although for me, the elastic waistband is snug enough without tightening the ribbon drawstring. I could have probably gotten the medium size for the bottoms as well and liked the set just as much.

On the fabrication: I like the fabric a lot! It feels soft, like one of my favorite T-shirts and is thick enough that it’s not going to lose shape after a few washes. However, it’s not so thick that it’s hot. It’s easy, breezy, beautiful — and super comfortable for sleeping. Although I actually have a very similar pair of pajamas from Victoria’s Secret that are a little softer and a bit stretchier, the Amazon ones are nearly half the price and for that, I’d definitely buy them again.

Would you recommend: I would definitely recommend these pajamas to a friend and may even give a few to friends or family as a gift this year.
