Tricks, treats and just plain terror: Here are the best Halloween events in Miami

Halloween is on the way, Miami — but it’s up to you whether or not you want to be scared.

There are a variety of events around town, some for kids, many with candy — and a few that are only for brave souls unfazed by terrifying chainsaw-wielding maniacs, creepy things jumping out of the shadows or evil clowns seeking entry into your nightmares.

A couple of attractions are already open; others focus on late October. Either way, here are a few of Miami’s best Halloween events.
