Travis Barker rushed to hospital with his wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side

Travis Barker has been taken to hospital suffering from a mysterious medical issue, with his wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side, according to reports.

His daughter Alabama Barker, 16, asked for prayers on social media.

Moments after the news broke, she wrote on Instagram stories: “Please send your prayers.”

The Blink 182 drummer, 46, was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after he arrived at West Hills hospital with his wife, 43, on Tuesday, according to TMZ.

Pictures on the gossip site appeared to show the star on a gurney before being taken to the Los Angeles-based hospital.

The Standard has approached Barker and Kardashian’s representatives for further comment.

In a cryptic message, the musician tweeted from his own account: “God save me.”

Some fans were concerned by the message on social media.

But God Save Me is also the name of a song Barker produced for his friend Machine Gun Kelly, released in March, and whose documentary Life in Pink is now streaming on Hulu.

It isn’t clear whether the message was a reference to the song.

Last week Kardashian recovered from her second battle with Covid.

It isn’t known when the reality star had Covid for the first time, although her famous sisters Kim and Khloe both revealed when they tested positive during the pandemic.

The latest news comes after Barker and Kardashian tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Portofino, Italy following the sunset beach proposal featuring many roses.

Their A-list friends and family made the glamorous trip to Italy to celebrate their love story.

The couple found love with each other after being friends for years.

Their romance has played out on the family reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
