Traffic alerts for week of Oct. 1, 2022

Sep. 30—WINKLER COUNTY — SH 302 Bridge Project at SH 115 in Kermit — The westbound right-hand main lane over SH 115 remains closed for the week of Oct. 3. All other main lanes and service roads are open. Be alert to warning signs and drive with caution through this construction zone.

ECTOR COUNTY: Project work will close lanes on U.S. 385 (Andrews Highway) just south of University Boulevard the week of Oct. 3. Outside lanes will be done first, then work will move to inside lanes. Expect delays. Please slow down in work zone. Area behind cones could be far lower than road level, so please don't try to go between cones.

ECTOR COUNTY: Lane closures will be needed Monday (10-4) as crew cleans debris from the West Loop 338 overpass at West University (FM 2020). Please slow down in area. Closures may shift during the day, so please be observant. Please obey signs/flaggers.

MIDLAND COUNTY: Crew will be patching sections of SH 158 throughout county on Monday (10-3). Please slow down if you encounter crew. Expect lane closures and slight delays.

MIDLAND COUNTY: Crew will be working on FM 307 under I-20 on Tuesday (10-4). Please slow down and obey flaggers and warning signs. Expect lane closures and delays.

MIDLAND COUNTY: Crew will be working on FM 1213 Wednesday and Thursday (10-5 and 10-6). Please slow down and obey any flaggers or warning signs. Expect lane closures and delays.

PECOS COUNTY: The US 67 project will be replacing the bridge at Burnt House Draw in October. Please follow detour signs and respect the fact that the speed limit is reduced to 60 mph. A width restriction of 10 feet is in place.
