Here are the top style moments of 2019

A lot happened in 2019, but when it came to fashion, things got pretty wild. Trends on the street ranged from bike shorts (athleisure is here to stay) and animal prints to boiler suits and neon everything. On the red carpet, stars got seriously creative. Lizzo delighted us all with her teeny-tiny purse, while Billy Porter and Jonathan Van Ness rocked gorgeous gowns. Helen Mirren and Angela Bassett proved that fashion has no age limit, and — lest we forget — the annual Met Gala debuted the most eclectic, out-of-this-world collection of outfits we’ve seen this decade.
