Here are the top Evansville-area athletes for week of December 6-11

Here are the top performances for the week of December 6-11. The story will be updated through Saturday.

Monday, December 6

Trinity Britton, South Spencer: The junior had 19 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the Rebels in a 61-40 victory over Pike Central.

Tuesday, December 7

Cooper Aigner, Boonville: The junior had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in a loss to Harrison.

Carley Begle, Forest Park: The junior forward totaled 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 60-50 win over Tecumseh. She was also a perfect 6 of 6 at the free throw line.

Amiyah Buchanan, North: The junior forward led the Huskies with 18 points in a 67-28 win over rival Central.

Blake Herdes, Central: The junior guard had 20 points, 10 rebounds and four steals in a win over Vincennes Lincoln.

Isaac Higgs, Reitz: The junior scored 27 points for the Panthers in a 67-36 win over North.

Taray Howell, Bosse: The sophomore led the Bulldogs with 18 points in a 77-43 rout of Owensboro Catholic (Ky.).

Avery Kelley, Memorial: The sophomore point guard had 21 points and seven boards in a 70-49 victory against Gibson Southern.

Will Kirkland, Reitz: The junior point guard had a splendid game against North. He scored 15 points but was even better on defense with seven steals.

Hagen Knepp, Barr-Reeve: The senior forward had a game-high 26 points for the No. 1 Vikings in a 42-39 win at Bloomington South.

Emily Mattingly, Memorial: The junior guard had 26 points and six rebounds in a win over the Titans.

Avah Montgomery, Southridge: The freshman led the Raiders with 23 points in a 61-33 win against North Posey.

Tyler Myers, Day School: The junior scored 33 points in a 75-70 loss to North Posey.

Cale Schmitt, Jasper: The senior pinned his opponent at 145 pounds to give the Wildcats a 42-38 victory over Reitz in a dual meet.

Jahni Summers, Harrison: The senior scored a team-high 16 points in the Warriors' 61-49 win over Boonville.

Thursday, December 9

Trinity Britton, South Spencer: The junior had 23 points (five threes) and five rebounds in a 53-34 win against Wood Memorial.

Sophie Johnson, Memorial: The sophomore had 16 points for the Tigers in a 65-18 win over Bosse.

Natalie Niehaus, Castle: The senior had 22 points, 7 assists and 5 steals for the Knights in a 64-53 road win against Mater Dei.

Amber Tretter, Forest Park: The junior totaled 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the Rangers in a conference win over Heritage Hills.

Friday, December 10

Weston Aigner, Castle: The junior scored a team-high 20 points in a 52-49 home victory over Harrison.

Brady Cato, Central: The junior notched a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the Bears' 53-43 win against Mount Vernon.

Connor Foley, Jasper: The senior forward had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 46-45 win over Memorial.

Hayden Huss, Mount Vernon: The senior went 4-0 on the first day of the PAC duals for the Wildcats, winning three of his matches by pin at the 285-pound weight class.

Gavin Schippert, Reitz: The senior scored 20 points to help guide the Panthers to a 58-42 win over West Side rival Mater Dei.

Saturday, December 11

Blake Anderson, Memorial: The junior scored 20 points with four three-pointers in a 72-48 win over Corydon Central.

Ana Chavez, Boonville: The senior tallied 18 points and 15 rebounds in a 50-29 victory over Mount Vernon.

Josiah Dunham, Evansville Christian: The sophomore guard scored 29 points in a victory over Day School.

Drew Howard, Forest Park: The senior guard scored 27 points in a loss to Washington.

Mya Johnson, Central: The senior led the Bears to a win over Terre Haute South with 21 points and 8 rebounds. It marked a career high in points for the forward.

Tyler Myers, Day School: The junior had a game-high 35 points in a loss at Evansville Christian.

John Purdy, Castle: The junior, ranked No. 2 in the state at 195 pounds, defeated No. 1 Gabe Sollars of Mater Dei during the Six-Way Tournament at Castle.

Logan Riester, Washington: The senior forward scored 31 points in an overtime win over Forest Park.

Trent Sisley, Heritage Hills: The freshman had 26 points in a loss to Owensboro (Ky.).
