Albert Castiglia Band

South Florida blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Albert Castiglia will visit Sarasota County restaurant and venue Englewoods on Dearborn this week. Castiglia played in legendary bluesman Junior Wells’ band before embarking on a solo career, most recently releasing 2020's “Wild and Free,” which won a Blues Blast Music Award for Live Blues Album and was recorded at Boca Raton’s The Funky Biscuit. Seth Walker

Fogartyville's live music lineup this week will include singer-songwriter and guitarist Seth Walker. The musician's sound blends gospel, roots and blues, earning coverage from outlets such as NPR and Billboard, and his albums "Leap of Faith" and "Gotta Get Back" reaching No. 2 and 6 on Billboard's blues albums chart, respectively. J.P. Soars and the Red Hots

After playing multiple shows in the Sarasota area last week, South Florida guitarist and singer-songwriter J.P. Soars is set to play Punta Gorda's Celtic Ray with his group the Red Hots. Soars, who was nominated for the Contemporary Blues Male Artist Blues Music Award last year, most recently released 2019's Tab Benoit-produced album "Let Go of the Reins." Reggie Sears

Bradenton Southern food restaurant and music venue Cottonmouth's live music lineup this week includes blues multi-instrumentalist and singer Reggie Sears. The Florida-born Sears has performed music ever since he was a child, including playing the 2005 Sarasota Blues Fest when he was in his teens. PINCfest

Creative conference PINC will return to Sarasota as a free three-day outdoor festival in Sarasota's Rosemary District, including two stages of live bands, performers and DJs on Friday and Saturday. Los Angeles-by-way-of-Tampa rapper Vinny Virgo, who released the new album "Thank You for the Inconvenience" last week, is set to perform Saturday along with Miami electronic musician Firstworld. Englewood Seafood & Music Festival

The locally produced series of festivals featuring food, drinks and live music heads to Englewood this weekend, with a three-day lineup of live music including numerous acclaimed Florida blues artists. Damon Fowler, who released the Billboard blues album chart-topping "Alafia Moon" last year, is scheduled to play Friday. Guitarist and singer-songwriter Sean Chambers, who used to play in Hubert Sumlin's band and released a tribute album to the blues legend last year, plays Saturday. 4-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday; Englewood Shopping Center, 262 S. Lou Gramm

The Bradenton Gulf Island Concert Series continues with Foreigner founding member and former lead vocalist Lou Gramm. During his time with the rock group, Gramm sang on Foreigner tracks in the '70s and '80s including the Grammy-nominated No. 1 hit "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Hot Blooded," "Double Vision" and "Waiting for a Girl Like You," with Gramm receiving co-writing credits for the latter three. Along with Foreigner, Gramm's also had a solo career that's included the 1987 Top 5 hit "Midnight Blue" and appearing on the soundtrack to the film "The Lost Boys" the same year. Adam Ezra Group

Note: After this week's edition of Ticket was sent to print, Fogartyville announced the Adam Ezra Group concert has been canceled due to a band member testing positive for COVID-19.

Fogartyville is also set to welcome Adam Ezra Group, an alternative folk rock group from Boston. The group has released albums including 2017's "Hurricane Wind," which features John Oates of Hall & Oates fame, and is a past recipient of New England Music Awards for Band, Album and Song of the Year. Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones

Longboat Key's Savor the Sounds outdoor concert series returns, kicking off with blues band Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones. Though the group is based in the area, they have a national following, earning a Blues Blast Music Award nomination for Blues Band in 2019 and reaching No. 3 on Billboard's blues albums chart for the 2018 full-length "Complicated Mess." Can't make this show? Damon Fowler

Along with Englewood Seafood & Music Festival, guitarist, singer-songwriter and former Anna Maria Island resident Damon Fowler is set to play Sarasota brewery Big Top Brewing Company for its Blues & Brews series this week. Fowler scored a No. 1 Billboard blues album with last year's full-length "Alafia Moon," drawing its name from Hillsborough County's Alafia River.
