Too Hot To Handle's season three is officially here, and there's one particular moment people on social media can't stop cringing at: when Patrick serenaded Georgia on the sofa. AGH.

ICYMI, a new series of the Netflix dating show dropped yesterday [19 January], and watched 10 contestants head into a villa to participate in Parties In Paradise. Only, er, it wasn't parties in paradise, but instead, Too Hot To Handle; where they must abstain from physical intimacy in a bid to win $150,000.

From the first episode of season three, it was clear the likes of Harry, Stevan and Patrick were interested in Georgia, a 26-year-old student midwife from Brisbane, Australia.

In a bid to make his move, Patrick, a 29-year-old model from Hawaii, USA, decided to serenade George with his guitar and a made up song. The lyrics went, "When I saw your face, I knew it was a big race to kiss you. You drive me crazy because I wish you were the one I was sleeping right next to me. And I'll treat you right, every single night. And massage your feet.

"You look so stunning in that dress too, you trying to make my balls blue? You've got to stop it, c'mon girl. And there you are, looking so beautiful like you always do. So I wish I had, you cuddling me... And I love you."

Yeah, it was a lot - and viewers on Twitter found the whole thing quite awkward. "Please Patrick and Georgia on THTH is the funniest thing if a man sang like that to me I’d dip I know she got the ick immediately," one wrote.

Another put, "I'm in TEARS over Patrick singing to Georgia in Too Hot To Handle season 3 girly is so strong for staying serious and not laughing in his face," and "Patrick singing to Georgia on Too Hot To Handle is sending me."

Other viewers were more supportive, though - and hey, maybe some people love being serenaded.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Georgia opened up about the song, commenting, "That was the best moment of my life! That's the best moment of the whole season for me. He's the best person on earth. He's so unique. It's like a serious moment for him and I was trying really hard to be serious, but the 'ball's blue' part, I was like... I can't! I can't be serious."
