While some people can’t start their morning without eggs or coffee, others need a bit of bread to get their systems going at the beginning of the day. I’m one of those people, and there’s nothing more comforting than a simple slice of toast with butter and a cup of tea. Once I’ve had that, I feel like I can conquer the world (okay, maybe just the workday).
Anyone who loves crisp bread or bagels needs a good toaster in their kitchen, and this 4 Slice Toaster by Cuisinart definitely fits the bill. Amazon shoppers give it 4.6 out of 5 stars, have left nearly 3,000 ratings for it, and right now, it’s on sale for less than $70, down from $110.
4 Slice Toaster by Cuisinart, $69.95 (Orig. $110)
Unlike standard toasters, this 4 Slice Toaster by Cuisinart comes with three pre-set buttons plus an adjustable "doneness" knob with settings from one to six. Even better, the two sides of the toaster work independently of one another. That means you can toast two slices of bread lightly on one side for yourself, while your partner can get their sliced bagel dark brown and crisp on the other side. Pretty handy, right?
“Works great,” one shopper titled their review. They went on to write, “This [toaster] works REALLY fast and toasts even. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 starts is because the knobs for up and down are a bit cheap, all in all a very good taster and we are happy with our purchase.”
Another shopper who called this “one awesome toaster” commented, “I have been toasting my bagels and they are evenly toasted to perfection. I love my new toaster. I can toast all kinds of bread and if it’s frozen I can thaw it in my toaster. It’s an awesome appliance to have.”
While the 4 Slice Toaster is definitely the way to go if you have a roommate or partner who you like to share meals with, folks short on counter space should also know there’s a slimmer two-slice version that’s just as good.
