Tina Turner's Son Ronnie Dead at 62

Tina Tuner’s son, Ronnie, has passed away. 

His wife, Afida Turner, revealed the news on Instagram. He was 62.

“My god Ronnie turner a true angel hiuge [sic] soul highly spiritual my husband my best friend my baby iyour [sic] mummy your nurse i did the best to the end this time i was no [sic] able to save you love u for this 17 years this is very very very bad i am very mad 😡,” she captioned the post, which included several photos of Ronnie throughout the years.

She added: “This is a tragedy u with your brother craig and your father ike turner and aline rest in paradise 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️😭😭💔💔 so unfair.”

TMZ reported that law enforcement got a call from a person who said that the What’s Love Got to Do With It actor was having trouble breathing outside of their home. 

When paramedics arrived, bystanders were attempting CPR. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

While it’s unclear what led to Ronnie’s death, the outlet notes he had numerous health issues over the years, including cancer.

Page Six states that a rep for Turner did not respond to a request for comment.

Turner’s eldest child of four, Craig, died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 59.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, mother, and two brothers, Ike Turner Jr., 64, and Michael, 63.

He did not have any children.
