Tigers coaching staff extends offer to 2024 forward from NC

The Auburn coaching staff extended an offer to 2024 small forward Isaiah Evans on Friday. He is now the eighth small forward that the Tigers have offered in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

Evans is regarded as a four-star according to 247Sports’ recruiting rankings. He is listed at 6-foot-6 and 165 pounds. The North Carolina native is ranked as the No. 20 overall recruit in the entire 2024 class. On Friday, in a showcase held in Atlanta, he managed to score 44 points in just 40 minutes. He knocked down seven threes too. He has drawn comparisons to Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram. With his frame and ability to score at the rack, colleges are already raving about Evans.

Along with filling up the bucket, he has also garnered numerous P5 offers along the way. Schools like Texas A&M, Tennessee, Illinois, and LSU have already extended offers to Evans. The Tigers have certainly produced forwards in the league over the years. Players like Isaac Okoro, Chuma Okeke, and Jabari Smith Jr. all starred for the Tigers and have gone on to play at the next level. Perhaps, that could help Bruce Pearl and his staff in the recruitment of Evans to Auburn.
