Highlights from Thursday in high school sports:

GIRLS SOCCER

  • Malia Tarazon finished with a goal and an assist, Priscilla Martinez and Justice Valdez scored goals, Andrea Ibarra had an assist, and Jaemi Toledo recorded the shutout in net as Oxnard (14-2-3, 8-0-1) beat Pacifica to clinch the Pacific View League for the third straight season. The Yellowjackets have won nine of the last 10 PVL championships.

  • Camila Perez scored the lone goal off an assist from Desire Lopez to lift Buena (7-10-3, 3-5-1) to a 1-0 win over rival Ventura in a Pacific View League match.

  • Danielle Bergstrom scored two goals and Natalie Estrada, Amanda Baucher and Sloane Yanicelli had goals to lead La Reina (4-4-1, 3-3) to a 5-0 victory over Villanova Prep in a Frontier League match.

BOYS SOCCER

  • Andrew Alonso scored two goals, Nathan Lopez had a goal and an assist, and Juan Lopez and Tristan Esquivel had assists to lead Buena (7-6-5, 4-1-3) to a 3-1 victory over rival Ventura in a Pacific View League match. Aidan Kelly scored the goal off an assist from Poncho Ramirez for the Cougars (6-8-6, 2-4-3). Buena is tied with Channel Islands for first place with two games remaining in the regular season.

  • Alexis Cuevas netted a hat trick, Estevan Villegas scored two goals, and Adrian Rodriguez had a goal to lead Channel Islands (8-3-7, 4-1-3) to a 6-0 win over Rio Mesa (8-11-6, 1-4-3) in a Pacific View League match.

  • Jesus Languran and Andres Martinez scored goals to lead Oxnard (7-5-7, 2-3-4) to a 2-0 victory over Pacifica (9-6-6, 3-3-2) in a Pacific View League match.

  • Quinn Oliver scored the goal and Dylan Abdulhai had the shutout in net to lead St. Bonaventure (5-2-1, 4-1) to a 1-0 victory over Thacher in a Tri-Valley League match.

  • Christian Roe and Daniel Cardenas scored goals to lead Villanova Prep (3-8, 1-4) to a 2-1 win over Grace Brethren in a Frontier League match. Kai Terentieff scored a goal for the Lancers (6-4-1, 4-2-1).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

  • Amaya Fuentes finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks, Tiernan Phillips had 14 points and eight rebounds, Alexis Howery had nine points, four assists and three steals, and Alina Olivo added three points, five assists and five steals to lead first-place Ventura (15-6, 6-0) to a 69-27 win over Channel Islands in a Pacific View League game.

  • Mika Jarrett, Sam McKenzie and Angelina Santana each scored 13 points, Kristan Yumul and Sofia Salgado each had 12 points, and Kayla Lumas had 11 points to lead Oxnard (19-4, 4-1) to a 78-39 win over Rio Mesa in a Pacific View League game.

  • Mimi Moon scored 17 points, Haven Ramirez and Myla Scott each had 12 points, and Alina Anguiano had 11 points to lead Pacifica (11-8, 6-2) to a 66-46 victory over Buena in a Pacific View League match. Skye Thomas finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Skyler Nerida had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Margaret Hampton finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs (6-9, 4-3).

  • Abrial Ramirez finished with 11 points, five rebounds and three blocks and Yazmin Wiggins had eight points and five rebounds to lead Santa Clara (7-14, 2-1) to a 40-18 win over St. Bonaventure in a Tri-Valley League game.

BOYS BASKETBALL

  • Dylan Benner had 12 points and eight rebounds, JD Goodcase finished with 10 points and six rebounds, Sam Seiden scored seven points, Mason Grayer had six points, and Nico Macias grabbed five rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure (9-11, 3-3) to a 57-42 win over Dunn in a Tri-Valley League game.

  • Jeremy Stevens scored 14 points, Willem Rutherford had 13 points, Beckham Rutherford had 12 points, and Campbell Gaston contributed nine points to lead Nordhoff (13-8, 5-1) to a 57-45 win over Santa Paula in a Citrus Coast League game. Bryan Magana scored 12 points, Jordan Ramirez and Andrew Mojica each had eight points, Daniel Renteria had seven points and 13 rebounds, and Jesus Cendejas added seven points for the Cardinals (8-15, 4-4).

  • Jack Morris finished with 16 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals, Jacob Munoz had 11 points and three steals, and Oscar Villalta had four points and four rebounds for Fillmore (7-9, 2-2) in its 42-36 loss to Malibu in a Citrus Coast League game.

  • Tyler Williams scored 28 points and Makaio Morphy added 14 points to lead Bishop Diego (16-7, 5-0) to a 70-57 win over Santa Clara in a Tri-Valley League game. Andy Olmos had 17 points and three steals, Jose Valdovinos had 13 points and three steals, JD Pettit finished with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Tony Barrera added nine points and eight rebounds for the Saints (7-13, 1-3).

  • Shawn Tuano finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds and Gavin Day had 11 points and five rebounds for Villanova Prep (13-7, 5-1) in its 65-49 loss to Cate in a Frontier League game.

GIRLS WATER POLO

  • Ava Williams finished with four goals and three steals, Jackie Starr had three goals and three steals, Brooke Sitton had two goals and a steal, Marisa Fernandez scored goals, Carla Maestre Donaire, Kendall Nagaoka, Kylie Smith, Devin Varela and Sophie Wilson had goals, and goalie Kathryn Salazar had 11 blocks to lead Buena (13-12) to a 16-6 win over Pacifica in a Pacific View League game.

  • Oxnard defeated Rio Mesa 8-5 in a Pacific View League game.

  • Oaks Christian defeated Cathedral Catholic 13-2 at the Irvine Tournament.

  • Kate Miller scored six goals, Tijana Roncevic and Hannah Tully-Giles each had five goals, Ruby Kamir and Maya Mouderres had three goals apiece, and Ida Tully-Giles made 10 saves to lead Villanova Prep to a 23-2 win over Foothill Tech in a Tri-Valley League game.
