APPLETON - The Lightning swept the Patriots 25-18, 25-5, 25-11 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Leaders for North were Ella Brinkhoff with five aces and 12 digs, Emerson Van Lannen with 33 assists and six kills, Ella Demetrician with 16 kills, Karissa Fortune with five kills and six digs, Maggie Hahnke and Olivia Lasee with five kills apiece, Madeline Koshuta with four kills, and Teegan Charapata with three kills.

“Our team played very well against a strong Appleton East team tonight,” said North head coach Steve Scheuerell. “Each practice we continue to want to improve. Great time of the year for us to be hungry.”

Neenah 3, Oshkosh North 0

NEENAH - The Rockets cruised to the Fox Valley Association win over the Spartans, 25-10, 25-7, 25-8.

Leaders for Neenah included Carly Stamm with six kills, five aces, three blocks and nine digs; Claudia Merizon with five kills and 15 assists; Marissa Corso with eight kills and three blocks; Leia Kersten with 12 assists and two aces; Jenna Lawatsch with five digs and one ace; and Elizabeth Oldenburg with seven digs and two aces.

“We took care of business tonight and played consistently and aggressively,” Neenah coach Emily Bennett said.

Kimberly 3, Appleton West 0

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers topped the Terrors in Fox Valley Association action.

Katie Schulz led the Papermakers with 17 kills and Ava Rank secured her 1,000th career dig.

Appleton West statistical leaders include Audrey Rosenbaum with nine kills, Halle Kray with five blocks, and Claire Crawford with three aces, nine assists and 11 digs.

Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Little Chute 0

LITTLE CHUTE - The Foxes rolled to a 25-15, 25-6, 25-15 North Eastern Conference win.

Leading the Foxes were Annalise Patchett with five kills, two aces, four digs and two blocks; Emma Nilson with eight kills; Kate Henze with eight kills and eight digs; Samantha Kempinger with eight kills and two blocks; Ava Patchett with 16 assists and four aces; and Savanna Charron with 14 assists and two aces.

Freedom 3, Waupaca 2

FREEDOM - The Irish defeated the Comets 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 17-15.

Leaders for Freedom were Eva Wall with 15 kills and five blocks, Sydney Bartels with 18 digs and 14 kills, Avery Lang with 13 digs, 11 kills and five blocks, Lauren Cropsey with 14 digs, and Rachel Koss with 37 assists.

Luxemburg-Casco 3, Clintonville 0

CLINTONVILLE - The Spartans swept the Truckers 25-13, 25-13, 25-10 to improve to 23-8 overall and 8-0 in the North Eastern Conference.

Leaders for Luxemburg-Casco included Alayna Deprez with 24 assists, Autumn Flynn with 16 kills, Kylie Hanson with seven kills and seven digs each, and Brooke VandeHei with 11 digs.

“It was a good road win tonight. I thought we put a lot of pressure on them from the service line,” said Spartans head coach Jeffrey Frey.

Xavier 3, New London 0

NEW LONDON - The Hawks defeated the Bulldogs, 25-11, 25-15, 25-15 to improve to 29-7 overall and 6-0 in the Bay Conference.

Leaders for Xavier were Mariah Potter with three aces, 34 assists and five digs; Olivia Neumann with 10 kills and three blocks; Annika Kowalski with four aces and eight kills; Belle Shea with three aces, two assists and 18 digs; and Halle Vande Hey with eight kills.

“I was proud of the team's effort, attitude and sense of team tonight,” said Hawks head coach Luke Herriges.

Laona/Wabeno 3, St. Mary Catholic 1

FOX CROSSING - The Rebels outlasted the Zephyrs 25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 25-17.

Leading the Zephyrs were Lauren Fischer with 13 kills and 19 digs, Rhiannon Reichenbacher with nine kills and Stella Virlee with 17 assists

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Neenah 3, Madison East 1

MADISON - The Rockets defeated the Purgolders 25-5, 25-21, 18-25, 25-11 in a nonconference match.

Leaders for Neenah were Mitch Krueger with five kills and five aces, Max Diekfuss with four kills and three digs, Reece Kandler with four kills and three aces, and Jackson Dennis with 19 assists.

“Great to go on the road and get a win,” said Rockets head coach Jake Coenen. “It was great to see everyone get onto the court and compete for our team.”

BOYS SOCCER

Fox Valley Lutheran 2, Kaukauna 0

APPLETON - John Callaway and Jin Lee scored goals and each assisted on the other’s score as the Foxes blanked the Ghosts in a nonconference matchup.

Matthew Callaway made seven saves for the Foxes, while Kaukauna made five in net.
