Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Ousmane Dieng reached a season-high and finished with his third double-double of the season Wednesday on assignment in the NBA G League.

Dieng produced 24 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal to lead the OKC Blue to a 107-94 win over the Stockton Kings. He went 10-of-15 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, in 39 minutes of work.

The 11th pick had everything working in the contest from finishing at the rim to spacing the floor and hitting from beyond the arc. He was also very active on the glass and hauled in five rebounds alone on the offensive end of the floor.

Dieng is now averaging 15.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and one block on 44.7% shooting from the field in seven games with the Blue. He has finished in double figures in all but one game and has hauled in at least 11 rebounds three times.

The Thunder plan to have Dieng play in the G League throughout the season in order to develop. The team will bring him back to the Thunder periodically to track his progress as the 19-year-old adjusts to the NBA game after playing last season in Australia.

Dieng is proving to be as advertised as a big wing player that can impact games in a variety of ways. With some more development, it seems like only a matter of time until he can be a regular rotation player with the Thunder.
