Are your tomato plants wilting?

Are carpenter bees boring into your garden fence?

Did your azaleas and rhododendrons fail to flower this spring?

These and any other gardening questions can be answered for free on the Franklin County Garden Information Helpline staffed by Ohio State University Extension master gardener volunteers now through October.

Gardeners can have their questions answered by phone, email, or by visiting with a master gardener volunteer at the Franklin County Office of Ohio State University Extension.

Gardeners can call the Garden Helpline at 614-292-8421 to speak with a volunteer or leave a message for a follow up call.

Questions can also be submitted by email to fcmg@osu.edu. Photos of insects to be identified or plant health problems that need to be diagnosed can be attached to email messages.

Gardeners can also bring insects and plant specimens to the OSU Extension Office for identification and diagnosis and meet with a master gardener volunteer from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Fridays. The Franklin County Office of OSU Extension is located at 2548 Carmack Road, and there is free parking at the front door of the building.
