Texas A&M-Kingsville routs Simon Fraser to remain unbeaten

The scenery of Texas A&M-Kingsville's Lone Star Conference game on Saturday had a different feel to it with the Javelinas having to travel more than 2,000 miles for a matchup with Simon Fraser in Blaine, Washington.

The outcome, however, was anything but unusual for A&M-Kingsville.

The Javelinas continued their winning ways by cruising to a 35-7 win against their conference foe to remain unbeaten at 5-0 with a 3-0 mark in LSC play.

Highlights: Texas A&M-Kingsville used a 21-point first quarter to take control early and finished with 458 yards of offense in its fifth consecutive victory. A&M-Kingsville quarterback Jacob Cavazos had another big performance after compiling 269 yards of offense and accounting for four of the team's five touchdowns. The Javelinas' defense limited the Red Leafs to 49 yards on the ground and forced two fumbles. Simon Fraser's only points came on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Justin Seiber to Sam Davenport in the third quarter.
