Texas high school 4-star safety Daniel Demery commits to Ole Miss football, Lane Kiffin

Coach Lane Kiffin has added another prospect to his 2023 recruiting class. Parish Episcopal School (Texas) safety Daniel Demery committed to Ole Miss football on Friday via Twitter.

"Thanking God and thanking my family for all the love and support," Demery wrote via Twitter.

The four-star recruit is the No. 25 safety nationally and No. 278 prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Demery also received offers from Baylor, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas A&M among others.

Demery had 70 tackles and five interceptions in 12 games last season.

Demery joins Suntarine Perkins and Marcel Reed in the Rebels upcoming recruiting class. Perkins, a four-star linebacker, is the No. 1 recruit in the state and No. 4 athlete nationally. Reed is the No. 21 quarterback in the nation and No. 10 ranked recruit in Tennessee.
