Terminator and The Expendables star Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he has undergone heart surgery.

The actor and Governor of California shared the news on Twitter, posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed followed by ones of him up and about. Thankfully, he seemed to be doing well, with this being a follow-up to a surgery that he had previously.

"Thanks to the team at the Cleveland Clinic," he wrote on Twitter. "I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery.

"I feel fantastic and have already been walking the streets of Cleveland enjoying your amazing statues. Thank you to every doc and nurse on my team!"

"It was really fantastic to step back into this role. I had such a fun time working on this and I hope you enjoy playing with Dutch as much as I enjoyed voicing him," he said at the time.

Elsewhere this year, it was announced that Arnie would be starring in his first ever scripted TV series, which he is also producing and pitching to various streaming services.
