Temperatures increasing throughout the day Sunday
The cool air to start the day will be replaced by a warm and hot afternoon ahead.
Highs will reach the lower 80s today. Heat and humidity will increase, and by tomorrow highs will be in the upper 80s. The heat index could be a few degrees above the air temperature, and it could feel like the 90s in some cities.
The heat and humidity will stay in place for Tuesday as well. Sunshine will persist with high pressure in place. The next best chance for rain comes Wednesday, with an approaching cold front.
