We Want To Hear About Your Favorite Book-To-Movie Adaptations

Over the past few weeks, I've posted a few times about book adaptations that...well...nobody was thrilled by. And, look, I'm as happy to relive the crushing disappointment of The Giver movie as much as the next person, but I'm always on the lookout for excellent adaptations, so I want to hear from you: What is the absolute best adaptation of a book you've ever seen?

Remember how Meryl Streep was in The Giver? Not super relevant, but still weird, right?

I, for one, adored A Series of Unfortunate Events when I was a kid, and I thought the Netflix series did the books justice (and came up with some truly excellent production design on the way).

Or, we can look at some classics: How about To Kill a Mockingbird or One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or another movie with a bird in its title?

Perhaps your pick is a movie or series that you were obsessed with when you were in middle or high school.

I missed Twilight when I was a teenager, but I've since educated myself on the essential pop culture artifact that is this baseball scene.

No matter if it's a TV show or movie, if it's adapted from a book, short story, novella, epic poem, bathroom stall graffiti, or any other form of the written word, it counts. Tell us your favorite book adaptations and why you love 'em in the comments for the chance to be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
