Taylor Swift partners with Capital One to promote album

Taylor Swift is partnering with Capital One (COF) to promote its new Savor card and Swift’s new album.

The pop star features in the commercial for the new card, and partnership is linked to the upcoming release of Swift’s album Lover, out August 23 on Republic Records, a division of Universal Music Group (VIVHY).

Capital One is offering cardholders access to an exclusive album bundle, that includes a digital edition of Lover and a one-of-a-kind Taylor Swift t-shirt.

“We are beyond thrilled to begin this partnership, as we know our customers are passionate about unforgettable entertainment experiences like those Taylor Swift consistently creates for her fans,” said Capital One Chief Brand Officer Marc Mentry. “Capital One is always looking for ways to give our customers the best, most exclusive access and this partnership with Taylor Swift will allow us to do that.”

This isn’t the first time Swift has secured a corporate partnership tied to an album release. For 2017’s Reputation, the singer partnered with ABC (DIS), Target (TGT), and UPS (UPS).
