Who is the Taunton Daily Gazette Player of the Week for May 16-21

TAUNTON— It’s nearly tournament time in the Greater Taunton area, and those teams on the bubble are looking to make the final push while those that have already made it will look to finish the regular season out strong.

Taunton baseball bounced back from losses to King Philip and Franklin with wins over Attleboro, Mansfield and New Bedford while Taunton softball fell to Attleboro but came back swinging two days later in a big win over Mansfield. Dighton-Rehoboth baseball had their four game win streak snapped by Norton, but took down Apponequet to finish the week, as did Dighton-Rehoboth softball. Bridgewater-Raynham baseball stayed red hot, as did Bristol-Plymouth baseball and Dighton-Rehoboth boys lacrosse, and all three look set for solid tournament runs.
