Tasty Crab House scheduled to open Monday on Aiken's Southside

Jan. 27—Seafood lovers will have a new place to dine on Aiken's Southside beginning next week.

Tasty Crab House is scheduled to officially open Monday, Jan. 31, according to a Thursday morning post on Facebook.

The restaurant is at 996 Pine Log Road.

Its hours of operation will be noon to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

A variety of seafood boils will be available at Tasty Crab House. The main ingredient options will include king crab legs, shrimp, snow crab legs, baby clams and crawfish.

Also on the menu will be fried seafood, chicken wings, soups and desserts.

Based on information provided at tastycrabhouse.com, the other eateries in the Tasty Crab House chain in South Carolina are in North Charleston and Florence. The latter has two of the restaurants.

A Tasty Crab House is coming soon to Myrtle Beach.

In addition, there are Tasty Crab Houses in Georgia, Delaware, New York and North Carolina.

The location of Aiken's Tasty Crab House is the former site of a Fatz Cafe, which opened in early 2006 and closed in early 2020.
