Target in Lincoln Plaza in Worcester evacuated after bomb threat made to store
WORCESTER — The Target in Lincoln Plaza was evacuated Monday night after a bomb threat was called into the store.
The threat was made anonymously just before 6 p.m., according to Worcester police.
A Worcester police dog and the state police bomb squad searched the store, which was determined to be safe. The store reopened about 7:30 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
