Taos Air flights to resume July 1

May 6—ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Taos Air will restart service to airports in California, Texas and other destinations in July.

Starting July 1, Taos Air will restart its roundtrip air service offering direct flights to and from Austin — Bergstrom International Airport, Dallas Love Field Airport, Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Los Angeles and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad.

After its winter 2019-20 season, the airline went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release from the airline.

The continuation of Taos Air is the result of a collaborative effort by the Enchanted Circle Council of Governments, an inter-governmental group focused on promoting and enhancing economic development in the region, according to the release.

Summer service will consist of twice weekly service from each city to Taos between July 1 through Sept. 27, according to the release. Taos Air will also offer service for the winter ski season, with a booking window slated to open this summer.

Tickets can be booked via www.TaosAir.com or by calling 833-359-8267.
