We can’t stop staring at Ariana Grande’s overlined lips in sideways selfie

When it comes to major beauty moments, Ariana Grande is up there with the best of the best. From her signature sky-high ponytail and razor-sharp winged eyeliner to fluttery eyelashes and sculpted skin, she’s known for rocking – and nailing – many, many beauty trends.
Just look at her latest Instagram post. Sharing a series of random snaps, from a piece of artwork that literally reads ‘ART works’ to her dog in bed alongside her laptop, Ari also gave us one of her iconic sideways selfies. You know the ones, where she rotates the picture sideways and we (happily) crane our necks to stare at it.
Despite the fact that the selfie is sliiiightly blurry (good to know I’m not the only one who struggles to avoid this), we can appreciate her glam beat in the snap. Alongside some neat eyeliner (just look at that inner corner) and seriously fluttery outer lashes, Ari is sporting overlined lips.
For reference, Ariana usually takes her lip products around the curve of her Cupid’s bow, like this:
But in this new selfie, she has taken her lipstick directly over her Cupid’s bow for a straighter line and, therefore, a much plumper pout. To finish her lip look, it appears that the singer has topped off her nude pink lipstick with matching or transparent lip gloss for a glassy finish.
In the caption, Ari wrote: “i love you i love you” and the post has only gone and racked up over a casual 3.6 million likes (and counting) in the last couple of days. Imagine posting a picture and getting that many notifications? Could never relate, tbh….
