System Men’s Fall 2021

South Korea’s System sought to expand on its contemporary vocabulary, playing with contrasts between tailoring and more casual pieces for a mix-and-match wardrobe in its “Odd/Even” collection.

Aiming to create a “strange yet refined look,” the label offered classic coats and pleat-front pants in a neutral palette, splicing them with athleisure pieces like puffer jackets and quilted shorts that were indeed a tad quirky. Texture came by way of a shearling aviator jacket and fluffy knits, softening the silhouette.

There were some solid, well-built separates in the lineup, but as a fashion statement, it was a subtle whisper that was barely audible, particularly from behind a screen.
