- Get ready for "Daytime Now."

SUNNY HOSTIN: I don't think that we should be airing these conferences in real time, because this is the danger. And you all know, I've been saying it from the very beginning. Americans listen to the misinformation and the musings coming from this president at their own peril. The people that are flanking him are also complicit at this point. Like the Dr. Birxes.

- Yeah.

SUNNY HOSTIN: They aren't saying anything.

- "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin, says that the experts present who fail to correct. President Trump at his daily coronavirus briefings, including Dr. Deborah Birx, are complicit in spreading the false information he's presenting. Hostin also said news outlets should stop airing the briefings in real time. The co-host made the comments during a conversation about the recent controversy over comments the president made that seemed to suggest people use household disinfectants to treat coronavirus infections, something the president said was just misunderstood sarcasm.

Viewers took to Twitter with their reactions. Some said they agree with Hostin. "Kudos to Sunny for speaking the truth. Dr. Birx is complicit." And "Dr. Birx is complicit. She's almost as dangerous as Trump." But others disagreed. "We have all seen how Trump fires people who are disloyal to him in public. We need Birx and Fauci on that task force. In a normal world, we'd expect them to stand up and take a stand. But in Trump world, we should know what to expect," said one. And "I honestly don't think that they listen to him when he's speaking. That's why no one corrected 45." As the situation continues to evolve, it's a waiting game to see how the task force reacts or doesn't.
