'Strong' Storm System Brings Snow to New York City

A “strong” storm system brought snow to New York on January 16, which also prompted the National Weather Service to issue coastal flood warnings for the city.

The city’s emergency management urged travelers to exercise caution as the storm produced a wintry mix of rain and snow, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions.
