Vernon Kay launched his brand new entertainment game show Game of Talents aired tonight (April 10).

The new ITV show features performances from a line-up of people whose talents have been concealed. The contestants have to try and guess what each person's talent is before it's revealed in the hopes of winning a cash prize.

During Game of Talents, each contestant is paired up with a celebrity guest. On tonight's show, Vernon's wife Tess Daly and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood were on hand to share their knowledge with gameplayers Ryan and Shumi.

Shumi was paired up with Craig but it was Tess's teammate Ryan who came out on top and managed to secure his chance at winning £25,000.

His final hurdle was a line-up of four people where he had to guess which one was an opera singer. After struggling to make a decision he chose to eliminate two people from the line-up in exchange for half of his prize money.

After a long wait, Ryan and Tess discovered that they guessed correctly, which meant that Ryan was going home with £12,500.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Vernon explained why he was excited to be a part of the show: "It's a great format, a brilliant show and I'm not just saying that because I'm hosting it!

"It really is a fun, interactive, subversive gameshow and I couldn't turn it down. If someone else hosted it I'd be gutted because it's just so good."

Viewers had mixed reactions to the new show, but many were just happy to see Vernon presenting on Saturday night once again.

Game of Talents airs on Saturday evenings on ITV.
