The Strictly Come Dancing live shows have undergone a slight format change.
However, it appears to have gone unnoticed by fans who tuned in to the first live show of the series.
After weeks of practice, this year’s Strictly celebrities took to the dancefloor to show off their moves to the judges.
But before they performed, viewers were treated to a VT showing their progress.
Nothing out of the ordinary there. However, previous series’ have featured the couples waving to the audience from the balcony before the pre-packaged clip is shown.
Having noticed the missing segment whilst watching his brother AJ Pritchard perform with social media star Saffron Barker, Curtis Pritchard told the Hits Radio: “Before they dance the pro and celeb wave to cameras, they run the VT, then they dance.”
He continued: “That hasn’t been in it this year – I think everyone missed that it hasn’t been in there.”
Meanwhile, there could be even more changes to Strictly in the future after outspoken judge Craig Revel Horwood revealed that he would step down from his role on the show if he was told to tone down his comments.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Every year I get told to tone it down and I don’t listen. Of course I won’t be toning it down this year.
“I’m going to be just like I’ve been for 16 years. I’m not changing for anyone, if that’s the case I’d rather not judge it. It will never work darling, I’ve got too much of a big mouth."
However, Revel Horwood admitted that he was aware that his time on the show could come to an end at some point.
"We are all dispensable, I expect they would replace me with someone else. It’s not me who has gone onto 56 countries worldwide, it’s the show and the format,” he continued to comment.
