Here’s how to stay safe on the water as weather warms up in Sacramento

As temperatures start to increase, more people are starting to head toward the water to cool off. On Saturday, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews were out on the water practicing rescue boat maneuvers. Crews tell KCRA 3 the warm temperatures aren’t having much of an impact currently on how warm the Sacramento and American rivers are, and add that anyone on the water needs to bring a personal floatation device.
