Stars of the Day: Team effort earns Bristol-Plymouth boys basketball big win
FRANKLIN — Make that two in a row in the Mayflower League for Bristol-Plymouth boys basketball.
The Craftsmen cruised to a 73-34 win on the road over Tri-County to improve to 6-5 overall and 2-1 in the MAC Large division.
In an all-around offense effort, senior Jordan Bruno led the way for B-P with 14 points, while junior Tucker Bumila scored 12, senior Anthony Fratelli had 10 and both senior Josiah Joyce and junior Billy Donovan had eight apiece.

Dighton-Rehoboth 54, Greater New Bedford 52
The Falcons came out on top over the Bears on the road in South Coast Conference action to improve to 7-2 on the season.
Senior Ryan Ouellette led the way for D-R with 24 points, while senior Nick Antonio and junior Ben Murray each scored eight.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Mansfield 72, Taunton 62
The Tigers fell to the Hornets at home in Hockomock action and are now 1-9 on the season.
Junior Kameron St. Pierre scored a season-high 35 points for Taunton while freshman Jillian Doherty had eight and senior Abby Souza had seven.
Dighton-Rehoboth 53, Greater New Bedford 21
The Falcons earned a big SCC win at home against the Bears to improve to 5-5 overall.
Junior Ella Damon led the way with 15 points while junior Morgan Corey had 12.
