The stars have aligned for Brad Pitt, ‘Friends’ turns 25, Madonna heads back on tour and more of this week’s best in pop culture

It’s been a big year for leading man Brad Pitt. In July, he released the movie “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.” In it he teamed up with Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and director Quentin Tarantino. Now, the 55-year-old actor is headed in a different direction (to space) in “Ad Astra.” Pitt plays an astronaut who goes on a daring mission to find his father. He told “Good Morning America” that he brought a unique authenticity to the role: “It’s really coming to terms with knowing yourself, full acceptance of yourself instead of living with regrets.” “Friends” fans can dance around in their turkey heads (like Monica famously did) because the show is celebrating 25 years. Whether you watched it when it first aired on NBC or are currently binging it on Netflix, the series that ran for 10 years still has some seriously loyal followers — “How you doin’?” Madonna — she’s doing just fine. The singer is doing what she does best commanding the stage. The Material Girl is back on the road in her eleventh concert tour in support of her fourteenth album, “Madame X.” Check out the video above for “The It List,” Yahoo’s weekly look at the best in pop culture.
