Stark Health Department, SARTA team up for mobile vaccine clinics

The Stark County Health Department will once again partner with the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority to host four mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics this month.

Residents ages 12 and older will be able to receive first, second or booster doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Those who received the Johnson & Johnson or Moderna vaccines for their original vaccination series are able to get the Pfizer-BioNTech booster.

The clinics will take place over two days and make four stops:

  • Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Village Canal Park, Basin St., Magnolia.

  • Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Christ Memorial Church, 2620 Robertsville Ave., Paris Township.

  • Nov. 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Wilderness Center, 9877 Alabama Ave. SW, in Sugar Creek Township.

  • Nov. 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Perry Grange Hall, 6300 Richville Drive SW, Perry Township.

The health agency is continuing to offer $100 gift cards for residents who receive their first dose.

The mobile clinics will not include the recently authorized pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. Residents who wish to schedule appointments for their 5- to 11-year-old children to receive the pediatric Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine can go online at ArmorVax.com or call 330-451-1681 to attend the department's pediatric clinics on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
