St. Paul rallies to defeat Clippers

Saturday's game: Saints 6, Clippers 5

Recap: St. Paul scored the game's first and last three runs, including a pair of two-run home runs, to edge the visiting Columbus Clippers. With the Saints trailing 5-3 in the seventh inning, John Andreoli hit a two-run shot to tie the game and Jermaine Palacios gave St. Paul the lead with an RBI double in the eighth. Matt Wallner, who scored the game-winning run, gave the Saints a 3-0 lead in the first with a two-run homer. After allowing three hits in the first inning, Clippers starter Tanner Tully, who completed five innings, retired 12 of the next 14 batters (two walks), including five strikeouts. David Fry hit his 14th home run of the season, Gabriel Arias hit his 11th and third in as many games. Bo Naylor extended his on-base streak to 14 games with a single.
