After a busy fall sports season — one that wasn't heavily impacted by COVID-19-related scheduling changes — southwestern Utah is transitioning into the winter season with high expectations for Region 10 high schools and for teams at both Southern Utah University and Dixie State University.

To get us ready for the upcoming season, Elle Cabrera interviews Sean Ellertson, The Spectrum's newest reporter, about what his expectations are for the new season and what it has been like covering southwestern Utah sports after living and working mostly on the east coast.
