It will be time to celebrate when Splash House returns this summer. The electronic dance music pool party is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The three-weekend event runs June 9-11, Aug. 11-13 and Aug. 18-20 at the Renaissance, Margaritaville Resort and Saguaro Palm Springs hotels with After Hours programming at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Organizers have not announced a lineup for the festivals at this time.

Presale passes and hotel packages go on sale at noon on Thursday, Feb. 9 and presale registration is open now at splashhouse.com.

Last year's festivals featured performances by Diplo, Channel Tres, Hayden James, Yung Bae and more.

Founded by Palm Springs residents Tyler and Kelly McLean in 2013, Splash House has become a major contributor to summer tourism in Palm Springs. From 2018 to 2019, the festivals sold out both weekends, drawing 7,000 attendees to the city. Los Angeles-based Goldenvoice, producer of the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals, is a partner of the event.

In 2022, Splash House expanded to three weekends from two. Organizers announced an expansion to three weekends for Splash House 2020, but all were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. McLean told The Desert Sun in 2019 he had been asked many times by locals when he was going to expand the festival to three weekends.

"For a long time we just weren't ready for it," McLean said. "We wanted to focus on two weekends and growing every aspect of the experience from the production to the music program. Over the last two to three years as we've accomplished those things, the demand has grown. ... we're ready to take this step."

According to organizers, the 2022 event contributed $6.7 million each weekend to the local economy.

“Splash House was a game-changer 10 years ago, attracting new visitors to Greater Palm Springs during our Summer months. We are excited about their continued success and the important economic impact this event has on our community," said Visit Greater Palm Springs President and CEO Scott White in a statement.

As a Palm Springs resident who created a homegrown festival, McLean told The Desert Sun in 2021 the future of Splash House is "exciting," offering more of the same with opportunity, growth and high demand.

"We're going to continue to work on the show, elevate the production and experience," McLean said.
