Spice Girls Celebrate 25 Years of 'Spiceworld' With Special Gift to Fans

Get ready for 'Spiceworld 25.'

The Spice Girls know what their fans really really want: an expanded version of their Spiceworld album!

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of their multi-million selling second album, the Spice Girls are releasing a new and expanded version, dubbed Spiceworld 25, which will release later this fall.

The album will feature some of the British girl band's favorite bonus tracks and B-slides, never-before-heard live recordings, and, of course, all of the original hits from the iconic 1997 album.

According to a press release, the members of the band—Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Geri Halliwell—created the album as a special gift to their devoted fans and a celebration of the No. 1 album that has since sold over 14 million copies worldwide.

"The 'Spiceworld' era was such a fun time for us," the band said of the new project. "We'd just had a number one album with Spice, we were traveling all over the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album AND we had our very own movie! Who would've thought it? It's crazy to think that 25 years have passed."

The album will feature multiple tracks from the Virginia Records archive, including a previously unreleased remix of "Viva Forever" with the "John Themis Abient Mix," which is named after the guitarist who would later co-write Bunton's solo No. 1, "What Took You So Long?"

The new deluxe version of the album will also include the previously unheard demo recording of "Step To Me," which has a new lyric video out now.

The digital, CD and cassette formats of the album will also feature a brand new "Spice Girls Party Mix," which "pulls together some of the band's biggest and most popular hits in a near-fifteen minute fiesta of brilliant Pop music," per the release.

Spiceworld 25 will be available on Nov. 4, but you can pre-save it now.
