Southern Minnesota Officials Warn Residents to Stay Home During Multi-Day Snowstorm

Minnesota officials warned residents in the southern part of the state to stay at their homes if possible on Thursday, December 15, as a multi-day winter storm settled over the area, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Footage posted to Facebook by the City of Minneota – which is about 150 miles west of Minneapolis – shows icy roads and snowfall on Thursday morning.
