Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got matching tattoos in tribute after their dog passed away

Newlywed couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have shared the matching tattoos they each had done following the death of their dog, Waldo.

The couple’s Alaskan Klee Kai was killed in a traffic collision last week, with a rep for Jonas describing the event as a “freak accident”.

In order to pay tribute to their beloved pet, both Turner and Jonas have had tattoos of the dog inked on to their arms.

Game of Thrones actress Turner shared an image of her small tattoo via Instagram Stories, accompanied by the words: “I miss you Waldo. Rest in Peace my little baby.”

Jonas, who rejoined his siblings for a Jonas Brothers reunion earlier this year, also shared his identical tattoo with fans on his Instagram page, writing: “R.I.P. my little angel.”

Many of the couple’s famous friends took to Instagram to pay their own tributes, with actress Jessica Chastain writing “I’m so sorry” and Jonas’ siblings posting heart and praying hands emojis.

Turner and Jonas own another Klee Kai called Porky Basquiat, who was born as part of the same litter.

The couple married earlier this year in a secret Las Vegas ceremony, having been engaged since October 2017.

Their ceremony took place following the Billboard Music Awards in May and they later repeated their vows for family and friends at a ceremony in France.

Beloved pooch Porky was present at this ceremony, wearing his own puppy tuxedo.

Jonas’ siblings Nick and Kevin served as groomsmen, while Turner’s Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams was one of the maids of honour.

As well as her role in HBO’s fantasy juggernaut, Turner has appeared on the big screen this year as Jean Grey in the X-Men movie Dark Phoenix.
