Soltura Development Group recently broke ground on the Odyssey by Soltura, a cottage-style apartment community which is home to 129 residences. The property will consist of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments that will all live like single-family homes but rent like an apartment.

“Soltura Development is excited to bring the first cottage style apartments to Southwest Florida,” said Danville Leadbetter, Co-Founder of Soltura Development. “With the ever-increasing housing needs of our community, we feel that this is a great time to be delivering this new alternative to the market and we are proud to begin our journey here in Southwest Florida with such great partners.”

Each Odyssey by Soltura apartment home is a separate free-standing building, inclusive of both front and back patio’s, impact windows and doors and a small private backyard. This allows each renter the space and opportunity for their own single-family home experience within an apartment setting.

The City of Fort Myers Mayor, Kevin Anderson, attended the groundbreaking and showed his support of the new project. Also in attendance was Danville Leadbetter, Arron Simon and Larry Covitz of Soltura Development and Tiffany Esposito, President and CEO of SWFL Inc. Soltura’s project partners also attended the groundbreaking and are as follows:

  • Steve Iannaccone (Halstatt Partners) - Equity Partner

  • Norm Gentry (BUILD) – General Contractor

  • Chris Farr (BUILD) – General Contractor

  • Chris Joiner (Joiner Architecture) – Architect

  • Ed Buckley (Avenue5) – Property Management

  • David Ohlrich (Avenue5) – Property Management
