Softball scoreboard: Cherokee Bluff holds off North Oconee
Oct. 7—Cherokee Bluff's Audrey Graham had a two-run homer in the third inning as it beat North Oconee 13-11 on Thursday. In the third, the Lady Bears sent eight runners across the plate.
Lauren Rule, Catalina Baronci, Angelina Baronci and Kaitlyn Herren also drove in runs for Cherokee Bluff in the big inning.
NORTH HALL 13, MADISON COUNTY 0: Olivia Mullins threw all five innings and allowed a single hit on Thursday.
At the plate, the Lady Trojans scored 11 runs in the second inning.
Kristina Peach went 2 for 4 with an RBI, while KB Seabolt had a bases-clearing triple.
Anna Reeves drove in two runs for the Lady Trojans (14-10, 9-8 Region 8-4A).
CHESTATEE 12, CEDAR SHOALS 2: Grace Jones, Savannah Petty and Kaylin Thome each had three hits for the Lady War Eagles on Thursday. Thome had a game-high three RBIs for Chestatee.
Hannah Pierce threw five innings and collected four strikeouts to earn the win for the Lady War Eagles.
WALNUT GROVE 14, EAST HALL 2: Elvie Armour and Callie Dale each had hits for the Lady Vikings on Thursday.
