Softball roundup: LQPV takes two at Marshall
May 16—MARSHALL — The Lac qui Parle Valley softball team held Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove to one hit in a 12-1 six-inning victory Saturday.
It's one of two games the Eagles played at Southwest Minnesota State University. LQPV also beat Redwood Valley 16-1.
Taylor Shelstad pitched the majority of the game for the Eagles, striking out seven over 5-2/3 innings.
On offense, Tayler Kittelson paced LQPV. She was 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Rylee Sawatzky added a pair of hits and two runs.
