Snow Covers Albuquerque as Temperature Plummets

Snow covered Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the morning of Tuesday, February 7, leading to “difficult driving conditions,” the National Weather Service said.

This video showing snow-covered roofs was filmed by Twitter user @crbillie, who said the footage was filmed in Albuquerque.

The snow followed a temperature drop from a high of 63 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday to a forecasted high of 40 F on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service said cold air and gusty winds were expected on Thursday from the next storm system. The service also forecast a brief chance of snow across the northern mountains and northeast plains on Thursday morning. Credit: @crbillie via Storyful
