In the pre-dawn hours, the sun and retrograde Mercury align in their inferior conjunction, offering self-awareness through introspection. Mercury’s retrograde cycle thus far has thrown a wrench into technological communication and produced its fair share of awkward misunderstandings. If these hiccups have left you asking, “why me?”, now you can see the bigger picture and recognize the method behind the madness. Are we hung up on ideas that no longer serve a purpose, which is perhaps even inhibiting our growth? When considering our future, are we caught in speculative loops instead of setting smart goals? At 6:25 a.m.: The moon is opposite Chiron
In the morning, the Libra moon opposes Chiron in Aries. The moon’s dispositor, Venus, which is currently retrograde, is also forming a T-square to both planets, stimulating no shortage of relational tension. We may feel unseen, unappreciated, or undervalued. Perhaps we have trusted our heart to someone who isn’t taking care of it properly. This isn’t just sad, it can feel like a real threat to our safety, especially if we have tied ourselves to the relationship through investments, a living situation, or a marriage. As much as cosmic drama might be playing out in real time between ourselves and a friend, relative, or partner, the issues triggered are really about us, not what we might be projecting onto another. What arises now has its roots in the past, in baggage we have been carrying around. Those we are interacting with may be mirroring wounding dynamics, but they are probably unaware of our needs because they cannot read our minds.
