Sixers addition PJ Tucker undergoes procedure on knee, cleared for camp

As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for training camp beginning on Tuesday in Charleston, SC, they received some tough news as PJ Tucker had to undergo a procedure on his left knee before camp begins.
Just before the team’s media day on Monday at their practice facility in Camden, NJ, the team announced that he had undergone an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. He has been cleared for on-court activities and he will be available to participate in training camp while in Charleston.
Per president Daryl Morey, it said it happened late summer and they don’t anticipate any setbacks with the new addition.

Considering Tucker’s age is 37, the idea is that the Sixers want to ensure that their new starting power forward will be in the lineup and they will deliver him to the playoffs playing at a high level to help them their first title since 1983. He fits a lot of needs so this procedure might be something to keep an eye on.
