Sip, shop and see Santa at Botanic Garden’s fourth annual Holiday in the Garden event

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden will host its fourth annual Holiday in the Garden event on Saturday, featuring gourmet food trucks and holiday carols by the Fort Worth Opera.

Wandering Roots Markets is expected to bring a variety of local food and retail vendors for the Holiday Sip and Shop, which will be inside the Garden Center, BRIT Building and the parking lots in between the two buildings from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., according to the Botanic Garden website.

Boutiques featuring items ranging from purses to plants are among the tentative vendor list. Admission into the Holiday Sip and Shop is free.

The Holiday Sip and Shop will also have food and dessert trucks, and drinks such as coffee and hot chocolate will also be available.

A free visit with Santa will be available from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Attendees will have an opportunity to take a free stroll of the Botanic Garden from 2-4 p.m. to close out the event.

Because parking is expected to be limited due to high attendance, Botanic Garden staff suggest using an Uber or Lyft to attend the event.

A limited parking option will be available in the main lot on 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard.

Parking will also be available at 3408 W. Freeway behind the Montgomery Street Antique Mall.

Visitors can also park at the Dickies Arena parking garage at 3464 Trail Drive for $20 per vehicle.
