Simon Cowell wore a bright red shirt during Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent live quarter finals. Since his American Idol days, Simon has almost exclusively worn white, black or grey shirts and sweaters.

Terry Crews was so surprised to see Simon in a colorful shirt that he couldn’t help but make a joke. Upon returning from a commercial break, Terry said, “All of our judges looking amazing, Simon decided to wear the red buzzer today.” He later told Simon, “I’ve just have never seen you in this?”

Twitter was just as shocked as Terry, if not more. Many fans took to the social media site to pontificate on the new look.
