Actually, last fall we saw a lot of metallics on the spring/summer runways, so it’s no surprise the trend is already everywhere. Clearly, metallics are no longer reserved for New Year’s Eve. This is one trend you can expect to carry well into the spring, too. Let’s be clear, though — the popular silver pants we’re talking about are faux leather or coated denim, not really sequin or glittery. And as for the fit, many of them have a straight leg, bootcut or even flare to them.
You can wear them with a chunky sweater and heels, with a white T-shirt, blazer and sneakers or a long white button down. The point: Keep things simple on top and let your pants do most of the talking.

Steve Madden’s Josie Pants are metallic faux leather and they have a slim, yet straight-leg cut that will look flattering on pretty much everyone. According to the product description, they run a little small though, so you should order a size up.
FRAME’s metallic silver jeans are rigid denim with a high waist and straight leg. Although they’re technically coated jeans, they’re extremely shiny — almost reflective. In other words, they’re kind of the perfect silver pant. The only problem is that they’re a little pricey.
